Taking great pictures has never been easier than it is nowadays because of digital cameras. Make sure you follow the advice in this article, so that you can make average shots look professional. Many tricks can be applied in just seconds, when you know how, leaving people wonder how come you take such great pictures all the time!
The first step in trying to reduce red eyes in your pictures is to check and make sure that your camera has a setting in it for red eye reduction. Most of the current DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) and point and shoot cameras have this function and it does make quite a difference in the pictures you take.
Use your camera's zoom feature to highlight your subject and eliminate nearby distractions. After you've framed the subject, take a moment to look around the frame to see if there's anything creeping in on the sides that will end up being a distraction in the final image. If there is, zoom in a little until the distractions are gone from the frame.
